January 18, 2012 – Disney has set March 20, 2011 as the DVD and Blu-ray release date for The Muppets

January 30, 2012 – Inserts inside next week's Lady and the Tramp: Diamond Edition Blu-ray + DVD announce plans for a number of upcoming Disney animated Blu-ray releases. Given a "Summer 2012" date are 2 Movie Collection combo packs of The Rescuers & The Rescuers Down Under and Pocahontas as well as, for a limited time only, a Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure combo pack. August 7th will bring the BD debut of The AristoCats. Secret of the Wings, the next in Tinker Bell's lapsed annual Disney Fairies franchise, will release fall 2012. A different booklet reiterates Cinderella as the fall 2012 Diamond Edition and places Aladdin (which had been reportedly dropped from the collection) next, due to arrive spring 2013

On the same day, the studio will also issue a Special Edition Blu-ray + DVD combo pack for The AristoCats. Also arriving August 21st is a Bounce-a-rrrific Special Edition Blu-ray + DVD combo pack of 2000's The Tigger Movie and finally, Lady and the Tramp II: Special Edition Blu-ray + DVD. Shortly after returning to theaters for the first time in 3D, Finding Nemo will at last find its way to Blu-ray, arriving on the format on December 4th.
