| _ This film combines the adaptation of Sinclair Lewis' story of a circus bear's journey back to nature with a revision of the fairy tale "Jack and the Beanstalk," starring Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. Bongo, tired of his life as a show bear, escapes from the circus, only to find that he can't climb a tree and the noises of the forest scare him. On his way back to civilization, he meets the girl bear Lulubelle, who sends out a confusing message by hitting him. Bongo doesn't know about the old custom: when bears are in love, they say it with a slap. And little does Mickey know about the magic beans for which he traded his cow.
